A TRIP TO JAPAN
Editorial Magazine
A Trip to Japan is an editorial zine reaching out to tourists wanting to visit the country of Japan. In this project, I wanted to design this piece to feel like a narrative story, almost like a personal book, written and designed by a tourist who visited Japan. I went about this project gathering and manipulating the images I had taken during my time in Japan. I chose to go with a black-and-white aesthetic to achieve a cohesive piece while not losing the visual details that I wanted to showcase to my audience. The progression of each page is a direct reflection of how and where my trip started and ended.
